Yes, you are ready for monowinging.
Spice up your foiling with Triton's purpose built monowing. This isn't a front wing with a mast connection. Under development for 2 years, the T1 needed an all new shape give you the stability to ride stabless (without a tailwing).
Designed by a rocketship scientist.
A lot of math went into this baby (courtesy of our rocketship scientist...yes this wing is designed by a professor of aeronautics from one of Canada's best universities). Ride this wing and you'll agree that we're onto something here.
We bet you've never seen a wing like ours. Our innovative wing profile, trailing edge, and wingtips make our monowing accessable to even intermediate foilers. Yes, you don't have to be an expert to have fun on the T1.
So how does it ride? Well lets say it's way more turny and playful than a traditional foil. It wants to do 360s and tacks naturally. And it likes to go upwind (if you want to, of course). Monowings have a personality all to their own. The T1 is super smooth getting up and has an amazingly low stall speed. If you do stall, it lets you down gently with no fuss.
The T1 feels like a much smaller 1200cm³ wing and likes to be powered. Kite selection is easy - select the kite you normally would use on your favorite 1200 wing. And the T1 will surprise you with its ability to eat up the gusts and glide through the lulls.
The T1 has a top speed north of 20 knots - so it's pretty quick.
What masts are compatible?
We made the T1 compatible with many 2 bolt M8 aluminum masts with bolt spacings between 45 and 65mm. The mast cannot sport a custom foot. Contact us if you have further questions.
The wing comes with 2 M8 mast bolts and a nice protective cover.
